When dogs come into rescue, they often need some time to settle in before being listed for adoption. During this time, we will get their veterinary needs met, which typically costs between $100-200 for the routine care including spay/neuter, distemper vaccination, rabies vaccination, heartworm test, microchip, vet exam, deworming, and a dental if needed when done through a spay/neuter clinic. Expenses can go even higher if there are other medical needs. We are asking some of our supporters to sponsor all or a portion of a dog's routine needs. If we receive more donations than required for a particular dog, the funds will be applied towards other dogs in need. If sponsoring a dog, you can select one that is shown below or just note in your paypal comments or with your check that it is for the general medical fund. Thanks so much!
